Students have an opportunity to study engineering with about 200 faculty members of national and international reputation. They have access to the superb facilities of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, including the ITL Laboratory, a unique, award-winning facility that provides hands-on design experience to undergraduate students, and the Discovery Learning Center, which promotes undergraduate involvement in research with faculty, graduate students, and sponsoring organizations. Each engineering department has laboratories suitable for undergraduate and graduate instruction and experimental research through the doctoral or postdoctoral level.
