Study Abroad

The College of Architecture and Planning and the Office of International Education urge design students to participate in one of the various study abroad programs offered for university credit. Study abroad opportunities are coordinated by and offered through the Office of International Education. These immersion semesters are offered to upper-division undergraduate students and are facilitated during the sixth semester of the curriculum. The study abroad program provides an academically challenging academic and cultural experience with extensive local support.

Specific architectural programs are offered in Sydney, London, Florence, Denmark (DIS), and Barcelona. These courses offer students an opportunity to study the process of design in another culture and to examine their own perceptions and attitudes toward design. For more information about the study abroad programs, contact the Office of International Education, University of Colorado Boulder, 123 UCB, Boulder, CO, 80309-0123, 303-492-6016, or at www.colorado.edu/oie
