BUSM-2002 (3) Financial Accounting and Finance
Focuses on the development and interpretation of companies' external financial reports. Emphasizes the concepts and skills needed to make sound financial decisions. Topics include financial statement development, statement analysis, working capital management, time value of money, sources of financial capital, cost and value of bonds and stocks, and capital budgeting or project analysis. Department enforced prereq., any calculus or statistics course. Requisites: Restricted to students with Business Minor (BUSM-MIN) plan and 12 units completed.
