EMEN-5005 (3) Introduction to Applied Statistical Methods
Covers statistical reasoning and statistical analysis for applications related to business and engineering decision making. Topics include an introduction to engineering and applied research, descriptive statistical analysis and its foundations, inferential statistics to include estimation and hypothesis testing using both traditional parametric as well as nonparametric procedures for research situations involving one or two groups of treatment conditions. Requisites: Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Junior or Senior) or graduate students only.
