MUSC-5722 (1) Sight-Reading Medieval and Renaissance Music Literature
Provides an opportunity to read through, sing, play, study and discuss ancient repertories more intensively than is normally possible in music history lecture classes, seminars or chamber music ensembles. Evaluation is based on active participation, out-of-class research and final in-class group performance projects. Recommended for graduate students in historical musicology and choral conducting. May be repeated up to 6 total credit hours. Requisites: Restricted to College of Music (MUSC) graduate students only.
