MCEN-3032 (3) Thermodynamics 2
Offers advanced topics and applications for thermal system design and analysis. Topics include thermodynamics of state, entropy, thermodynamic cycles and reacting and nonreacting mixtures. Provides application to power generation, refrigeration and HVAC with conventional and advanced technologies. Most assignments are design oriented. Requisites: Requires prerequisite courses of MCEN 3012 and MCEN 3021 or GEEN 3852 (all minimum grade C). Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Junior/Senior) Mechanical or Environmental Engineering majors only.
