MCEN-4057 (3) Environmental Modeling
Enables students to develop and evaluate pollutant transport, fate, exposure, and risk models for air, water, and multi-media systems, with a special emphasis on air. The course emphasizes the fundamental physics and chemistry that govern contaminant fate and transport and the basic mathematical equations and numerical approaches for describing these processes. Same as MCEN 5057. Requisites: Requires prerequisite courses of CHEN 1211 or CHEM 1113 or MCEN 1024 and CSCI 1300 or CSCI 1320 (all minimum grade C).
