TLEN-5550 (3) Computer and Network Security
Studies methods to protect information, and the ability to process and move information, from theft, misuse, tampering, destruction, and unauthorized access. Introduces foundational topics of computerand network security, including security models, cryptography, and authentication protocols. Recommended prereqs., CSCI 5273 and significant experience in coding (C or C++); some experience in networks; familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, and ICMP.. Same as CSCI 6268. Requisites: Restricted to graduate students only.
