LGBT-4287 (3) Special Topics in LGBT, Multicultural, and Postcolonial Literature
Examines a special topic in LGBT, Multicultural, and Postcolonial literature from the early 16th century to the present. Discusses the changing status of sexuality, race, ethnicity, and/or nationality as a literary and cultural topos, including how desire and identity is defined, and the rhetorical and ideological difficulties involved in its representation. Specific topics vary each semester. May be repeated up to 9 total credit hours. Same as ENGL/WMST 4287. Requisites: Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Juniors or Seniors).
