MCEN-4057 (3) Environmental Modeling

Enables students to develop and evaluate pollutant transport, fate, exposure, and risk models for air, water, and multi-media systems, with a special emphasis on air. The course emphasizes the fundamental physics and chemistry that govern contaminant fate and transport and the basic mathematical equations and numerical approaches for describing these processes. Same as MCEN 5057. Prerequisites: Requires prerequisite courses of GEEN 1300, CHEN 1211 and MCEN 3021 (all minimum grade C-).
