Explores "The cultural turn" in sociology and relateddisciplines. Reviews basic themes in cultural studies--e.g., distinguishing "Cultural" and "Social"; narrative as catalyst between symbols and practices; cultural production processes; self as embodied; culture and power; methods and epistemological issues.
