SLHS-5262 (3) Dysphagia
Provides students with background in the anatomical, physiological, and neurological bases of swallowing function and disorders across the lifespan. Etiological factors are presented, as well as various assessment tools and principles of treatment of swallowing disorders in children and adults. Prerequisites: Restricted to Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) or Audiology (AUDD) graduate students only.
