Continues developing Japanese language skills beyond the first eight semesters. Cultivates further proficiency at an advanced and superior level. Readings are selected from a wide range of contemporary writings that reflect and represent issues in Japanese as well as global communities. Emphasizes all skills: reading, listening, writing, speaking, and translation. Instructional technology is extensively integrated into the curriculum. Prereq., JPNS 4210 (min. grade C) or instructor consent.
