Introduces engineering methods for the study of air quality. Topics include: indoor air quality, greenhouse gases, dispersion modeling, acidification of lakes, sources apportionment modeling, chemistry of combustion, pollution sources and controls, and human exposure to air pollutants. Under consideration as requirement for EVEN students in air quality track or concentration course in environmental engineering for undergraduate CVEN students. Prereqs., APPM 2360 (or MATH 3130 and 4430) and CVEN 3313 (or CHEN 3200 or MCEN 3021). Same as CVEN 5554.
