Covers dynamic behavior of particle systems and rigid bodies; 2-D and 3-D kinematics and kinetics; impulse, momentum, potential, and kinetic energy; and work, collision, and vibration. Lectures and homework assignments involve computer work and hands-on laboratory work in the ITLL, documented by written reports. Prereq., MCEN 2023. Formerly MCEN 3043.
