Examines current theory and research on adolescent development, learning, motivation, and academic achievement. Emphasizes how theory and research can inform instructional decisions in the secondary classroom. Restricted to English-Secondary Education (EDEN), Social Studies-Secondary Educ (EDSS), Mathematics-Secondary Educ (EDMA) or Science-Secondary Educ (EDSC) graduate students only.
