Includes syntheses and spectroscopic characterizations of transition metal and main group compounds, experience in manipulation of air sensitive compounds, and techniques involving unusual conditions of pressure or temperature. Prereq., CHEM 4011 (min grade C-). Prerequisites: Requires prerequisite course of CHEM 4011 (minimum grade C-). Restricted to Chemistry and Biochemistry majors only.
