Immerses students in the language, culture,and contemporary realties of Brazil. Explores how development is conceived and practiced, how natural resource governance is debated and enacted, and how entrepreneurial approaches shape development and governance challenges in Brazil. Focuses on research projects about sustainable development, environmental governance, social entrepreneurship. Through these topics students also refine cultural intelligence and improve Portuguese academic writing. Recommended prereq., PORT 3003.
